The House of Ullr restaurant is renowned for its 'Cook Your Own' grill, offering a large choice of tucker from steaks to seafood, chicken, pork, lamb and kangaroo, all served with fresh home made salads and dressings and/or fresh vegetables.
Try out our 'saucey' aprons while you cook at the grillthey are sure to be a conversation piece! Our special children's menu offers some good hearty and nutritious meals.

The restaurant is fully licensed, offering a wide variety of wines in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Bar Ullr is one of the liveliest bars in Thredbo and is a great place to enjoy some apres ski, and exchange stories about the day on the mountain. There is a large range of wines, spirits and schnapps. Come in and try some of the creations that have become our speciality. Carlton draught, VB and Coopers beer are served on tap, together with an extensive range of bottled Australian and imported beers.
The bar has two large screen plasma TVs, showing current sport and music through Austar Television. Live entertainment can be seen throughout the peak winter season and on some occasions during summer.

Maybe you would enjoy our karaoke nights; sing the night away with the most up-to-date karaoke equipment, offering some 8000 songs to choose from. Our 'Ullroke' nights are run on request and by prior arrangement, or on special occasions such as New Year's Eve, and are quoted by some as being 'some of the best fun ever had'.

Getting There:

By car: Thredbo is five or six hours drive from Sydney, and seven hours from Melbourne.
By air: The nearest commercial airport is at Cooma, 85 km from Thredbo. Cooma Airport is served by Rex Regional Airlines. Transfers or car hire are available from Cooma Airport.
By bus: Summit Coaches operates a coach service from Sydney to Thredbo via Canberra.
