Join your hosts Cora and Mark in our friendly, family run B&B style Lodge. Hannas Hutte Lodge is located in the lakeside town of Jindabyne, nestled in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains.
Hanna?s Hutte is one of the best value Lodges in Jindabyne. We are centrally located, a short walk to shops, restaurants and the shores of the lake, and just 30 minutes from Australia's premier ski resorts.
The Lodge facilities include; lounge with open fire, games room with pool table and Internet access, drying room, ski storage and plenty of off street parking. The rooms feature TVs, ensuites and central heating. Relax around the fire at the end of the day, have dinner in one of the town?s fine restaurants, or join us for a fine home cooked meal.
All year round our region offers great outdoor activities from skiing and snowboarding in winter to biking in summer.
Summer lends itself to just about any aquatic activity you could think of; swimming, waterskiing, sailing, canoeing, even scuba diving on the old town.
With a warm, dry climate, Jindabyne is a wonderful place to stay in summer, with a very different atmosphere to the bustling winter town.

In spring make use of the snow melt as it floods the upper Murray and provides the best White Water Rafting. Summer and Autumn are unbeatable for mountain biking, wakeboarding, sailing, canoeing, hiking and horse riding.
Walk to the Top

Hike to Australias highest peak - Mt Kosciuszko. Take in the breath taking scenery of the Snowy Mountains & Victorian Ranges. There are many walks to do in this area. Join a guide & discover the unique Alpine flora & fauna. Do the loop & spend a day discovering the Alpine lakes or hike to some of the areas highest peaks passing by the old historic huts of the Snowies. Walk or ride to huts that are in unspoiled mountain country, stopping on the way to view cascading waterfalls & meandering rivers. This is not to be missed, You?ll Love it!!

Ride the white water
As the snow melts off Mt Kosciuszko it transforms the Mighty Murray River into an adrenalin pumping white water challenge. Join a great team of experienced guides to take you down the gentle rapids which meander through sub-alpine forest. Master the rafting skills before the river descends into the MIGHTY Murray Gates Gorge. 6 kms of continuous rapids.

CANOEING & KAYAKING
The Snowy River is a beautiful location for the adventures & families to practise first in calmer waters, before moving downstream to tackle the white water. The rapids are challenging & exciting for all paddlers, yet safe & fun for beginners. Enjoy lunch on the sandy beaches surrounded by wilderness, & swimming in crystal clear waters. Canoeing is also a popular activity on Lake Jindabyne.

Wakeboarding, waterskiing, tuberiding, sailing and swimming are all found on Lake Jindabyne through the summer months - a short walk from HH?s front door.

Mountain Biking
The Snowy Mountains are Australia's Mountain Biking Mecca. Access trails run deep into the Kosciuszko National Park. Ride out to Mountain Huts along undulating tracks closed to motor vehicles or scare yourself witless on adrenaline charged descents. Or, for a more relaxed time, just pedal out on the quiet rural roads or down to the lake for a swim.

Climbing & Abseiling
There are many climbs at different locations. The Rock at Snowy River near Jindabyne is a challenging climb. It overlooks the beautiful Snowy River & faces the dam wall. The professional guides will take anyone keen to have a go. It is safe and they will instruct you in the skill of abseiling. You?ll tackle easy drops/climbs and progress to more challenging vertical faces & overhangs. The one day climbs at Khancoban & Main Range locations offer exciting abseiling & rock climbing adventures. Hang from a rope over a sheer drop! Climb granite tors in spectacular Alpine Country. No experience necessary, Great fun, easy & challenging.

Horse Riding
Ride through some spectacular unspoiled mountain country, passing over rivers & stopping by some historic huts, spotting wildlife. Climbing up through valleys to reach the top and some of Australia's most breath taking views. Overnight treks offer great food, entertaining company around the camp fire & journeys deep into the wild untamed mountain country. There are different rides to suit everyone.

Fly Fishing
The Snowy Mountains offers some of the best Trout fishing in Australia. If you have always wanted to try fly fishing then have a lesson with some of the experienced guides in the area. They will introduce you to some beautiful wilderness areas beside meandering mountain rivers. Also get a boat ride up to some of the secret spots to catch the famous trout. This is not only a great day fishing it also is getting out into the peace & tranquillity of the local area & take pleasure at the sounds & sights that not many get to see.

On Lake Jindabyne off Kosciuszko Road, just past the Thredbo turnoff. Feel the exhilaration of chasing the wind aboard a l4' or 16' Hobie Cats or windsurfer.

Distance By Road
Jindabyne to Perisher Blue - 33km Jindabyne to Skitube at Bullocks Flat - 20km Cooma Snowy Mountains airport to Jindabyne - 45km From Jindabyne access by road to Perisher, Smiggins and Guthega is via the Kosciuszko Road. Motorists are legally required to carry properly fitting chains in any vehicle other than 4WD?s in a "snow-ice" risk section within the National Park. It's an easy half hour drive from Jindabyne in good weather. Entry to the National Park is $16 per car per day. Annual passes are $85.

Airlines
Canberra Airport is a 2 hour drive from Jindabyne and a 40 minute flight from Sydney. For Skibus transfers call 1800 352 957 bookings are essential.
Qantas, Virgin Blue and REX Airlines operate regular flights from Sydney, Newcastle and Melbourne, to Canberra for enquiries phone 13 13 13.

Transfers
Transfers are available from Canberra Airport to Jindabyne and all resort areas, call 1800 679 754 or 1800 352 957.

Train
Countrylink train have a daily train from Sydney Central to Canberra. Summit Coaches connect to Jindabyne and Thredbo.From Melbourne there are frequent bus and daily train services to Canberra, where you can connect to the Summit Coaches service.
